Summary:
We are seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer with strong handson experience in designing, developing, and validating embedded electronics for industrial drives, servo inverters, or similar products. The role involves endtoend hardware development, schematic design, PCB review, hardware bringsup, verification, and crossfunctional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded electronics, including analysis, specification, verification, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Create schematics for MCU/SoC interfaces, power management, analog frontends, and protection circuits.
- Support PCB layout with design rules, SI/PI/EMC guidelines, and perform layout reviews.
- Handle hardware bringsup & debugging (power sequencing, clocks, interfaces) in close collaboration with firmware teams.
- Define and execute verification plans (electrical, functional, environmental); support EMC/EMI troubleshooting.
- Perform component selection, derating, reliability checks, and qualification.
- Work with Manufacturing/EMS for industrialization, test strategy, and series rampup.
- Prepare documentation for designs, tests, and support compliance approvals (CE/UL).
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in embedded hardware design, schematics, and component selection.
- Expertise in power supplies & power management (DC/DC, LDO, sequencing).
- Good knowledge of analog & digital circuits and signal handling.
- Handson with MCU/SoC interfaces (SPI, IC, UART, CAN, Ethernet, PWM, ADC).
- Proficient in lab debugging (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power analyzer).
- Experience with EDA tools like Altium, Cadence, Mentor, and performing PCB layout reviews.
- Good understanding of EMC/EMI principles and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with structured development processes and documentation.
Desirable Skills:
- Exposure to highspeed interfaces (DDR, LVDS).
- Experience with industrial drive electronics and functional safety concepts.
- Basic understanding of firmware for debugging (JTAG/SWD).
- Familiarity with automated test setups, scripting (Python), and CI for hardware.
- Knowledge of DFM/DFT and manufacturing collaboration.
