Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Design, lay out, and bring up custom PCBs for onboard avionics and communications hardware
- Own electrical integration of sensor and communication buses feeding the flight computer and flight controller
- Design and validate telemetry and sensing hardware for key subsystems
- Own harness design, connector selection, and environmentally-resilient packaging
- Coordinate with the mechanical team on component integration and wiring routing
- Support hardware bring-up, debug, and field troubleshooting during testing
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Embedded Systems Engineering
- 6+ years hands-on PCB design experience, schematic through layout
- Strong background in embedded communications protocols and RF/comms hardware integration
- Experience designing electronics for harsh operating environments
- Prior UAV or aerospace avionics hardware experience
- Experience with export-controlled/dual-use hardware procurement processes
- Familiarity with common flight-controller hardware integration
