Embedded Firmware Engineer
Job Description:
BE / B.Tech / M.tech:
4 to 7 years of experience in Embedded firmware & application development and communication protocols
Mandatory Skills:
Domain skills:
- Industrial Control & Automation
- Industrial communication protocols
- Prior hands-on experience in EtherNet IP / IEC61850 / Profibus / Modbus TCP protocol standards and implementation experience
Technology And Tool Skills:
- Hands on experience in design / architecture for embedded control systems - firmware and applications using object-oriented concepts
- Hands on experience - Strong in C, C++, UML
- Hands on experience in RTOS VxWorks
- Hands on experience in development and testing of communication protocols stacks
- Ability to understand all layers right from BSP, device drivers, middleware and application layers
- Testing, test tools like Lauterbach, ICE, Trace32, Test complete, Enterprise Architect etc.
- Static code analysis, tools like PCLint, Klocwork etc.
- Hands on experience on using configuration management tools - TFS. Knowledge on activities like branching, baselines, code and design reviews process.
Others:
- Embedded systems projects involving hands on design and implementation.
- Prior experience on safety critical software development is highly preferred.
- Must have been involved in full product life cycle for any of the products involving real time embedded software systems.
- Good communication skills written and oral
- Very good team player, should be able to work with teams from different regions spread across the world.
