Embedded Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Embedded Engineer role based in Chennai. The Embedded Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for MPULSE.

Typical responsibilities include writing and optimizing embedded code, integrating firmware with hardware components, and testing the integrated set up in live scenarios. The role involves debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems, performing testing and validation, and documenting hardware/software designs and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Smart Freshers or 1-2 years experience in embedded design and firmware.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong skills in Embedded design and firmware development for microcontrollers, communication protocols like GSM/WiFi and Bluetooth.
• Proficiency in Debugging embedded applications, diagnosing hardware-software interactions, and resolving performance or reliability issues.
• Solid understanding of C/C++ or similar languages commonly used in embedded environments.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), device drivers, and hardware interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the electronics ecosystem outside the company.
