Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Engineer role based in Bhubaneswar. The Embedded Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for medical and IoT devices used in connected care and remote patient monitoring solutions. Daily responsibilities include implementing and testing firmware, debugging and optimizing code, and integrating embedded systems with IoT platforms and cloud services. The role involves collaborating with hardware engineers, software developers, and product teams to ensure reliable device interoperability and secure data communication. The Embedded Engineer will also contribute to documentation, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement of development and testing practices.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software, including experience with microcontrollers and real-time systems.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Software Development and Debugging, with proficiency in languages such as C/C++ and use of relevant development tools.
  • Candidates should possess skills related to the Internet of Things (IoT), including working with communication protocols, sensors, and device-to-cloud integration.
  • Knowledge of medical or healthcare devices, IoMT, and regulatory or safety considerations in embedded systems is beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with version control systems, embedded Linux or RTOS, and hardware–software integration is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams are required.
