Internship Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Embedded Electronics Engineering Interns to join our aerospace engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in embedded systems, electronics design, and avionics technologies used in aerospace and UAV applications. Interns will work closely with experienced engineers on real-world projects involving embedded hardware, firmware development, testing, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing embedded electronics and firmware for aerospace applications.
- Support hardware testing, debugging, and validation activities.
- Work with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication interfaces.
- Help in PCB schematic review, soldering, and prototype assembly.
- Participate in embedded software development using C/C++.
- Perform basic testing using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and debugging tools.
- Assist in integration and troubleshooting of electronic systems.
- Document test results, observations, and technical findings.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on research and development tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Basic understanding of embedded systems and electronics.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32, Arduino, ESP32, AVR, or ARM-based systems.
- Basic programming knowledge in C/C++.
- Understanding of communication protocols like UART, SPI, I2C or CAN.
- Eagerness to learn aerospace and embedded technologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Academic or personal projects related to embedded systems, robotics, drones, or IoT.
- Basic PCB design knowledge.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and lab equipment.
- Exposure to Python or MATLAB is a plus.
