Role Overview
As an Embedded Display Developer, you will work on developing and optimizing display subsystems for mobile/embedded platforms.
This includes working closely with hardware, firmware, and OS teams to enable high-performance display pipelines on Qualcomm chipsets.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain display drivers for embedded platforms (Linux/Android-based systems)
• Work on display interfaces such as MIPI DSI, HDMI, eDP
• Bring-up and debugging of display panels on Qualcomm SoCs
• Optimize display performance (frame rate, latency, power consumption)
• Work on graphics pipeline components like DRM/KMS and framebuffer management
• Debug display issues such as flickering, tearing, and color inconsistencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, kernel, multimedia, GPU)
• Contribute to BSP (Board Support Package) development Required Skills
• Core Technical Skills Strong programming in C/C++ Experience with Linux kernel development Understanding of display subsystem architecture, device drivers, memory management
• Display-Specific Skills Hands-on experience with MIPI DSI / D-PHY Knowledge of display technologies (LCD/OLED) Familiarity with DRM/KMS framework
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Android display stack
• Exposure to Qualcomm platforms (Snapdragon)
• Knowledge of GPU/display pipeline integration
• Power optimization techniques
• Experience with debugging tools (oscilloscope, protocol analyzers) Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or Embedded Systems.
Experience: 3–10 years (depending on role level).
