Embedded Design Engineer

YeppAR Smart Solutions is looking for a skilled Embedded Design Engineer to join our Defence Technology team and contribute to the development of mission-critical embedded systems and defence electronics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware and firmware for defence applications.
• Develop firmware using Embedded C/C++.
• Work with ARM-based microcontrollers, sensors, processors, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware–firmware integration, board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
• Work with communication protocols such as SPI, I²C, UART, CAN, RS-232/485, and Ethernet.
• Develop and integrate real-time embedded systems using RTOS.
• Support PCB design, prototyping, validation, and system integration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across electronics, software, mechanical, and systems engineering.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Embedded C/C++
• STM32 / ARM Cortex-M / Cortex-A
• FreeRTOS / Zephyr
• PCB and electronics fundamentals
• Sensor and peripheral integration
• JTAG/SWD debugging
• Oscilloscope & Logic Analyzer
• Git / Version Control

Defence Experience – Advantage

Experience in defence electronics, UAV/UGV, robotics, simulation systems, surveillance, navigation, tactical communication, rugged embedded systems, or mission-critical applications will be an advantage.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
