Job Title: webOS TV Platform Developer

Experience - 3 to 8 years

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled webOS TV Platform Developer to design, develop, and maintain system-level and service components for the webOS TV platform. The role involves working closely with embedded systems, Linux/RTOS environments, and platform services to deliver stable, high-performance TV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain platform-level software for webOS TV.
• Develop system and service components using C/C++ in embedded environments.
• Work on Linux/RTOS-based system programming and platform services.
• Apply object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and UML-based designs.
• Contribute to system and service development for Android/webOS platforms.
• Perform debugging, issue analysis, and root cause investigation for system-level problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure platform stability, performance, and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development and quality standards.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in C and C++ within embedded environments.
• Good understanding of C++ design patterns and UML-based software design.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/RTOS and system-level programming.
• Good understanding of Linux internals, including systemd, process management, DAC, and SMAC.
• Hands-on experience in system or service programming for Android or webOS platforms.
• Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Added Advantage

• Knowledge of Bluetooth and networking standards such as WiFi and Bluetooth.
• Experience with connectivity standards such as Miracast, IoT, UPnP, DLNA, and MQTT.
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source integration.
• Knowledge of cross-compiling for ARM architecture and use of profiling tools.
• Familiarity with development tools such as Git, Gerrit, GCOV, and LCOV.
• Working knowledge of project and documentation tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
