Roles and responsibilities:
- Experience: 5 to 7yrs (minimum 2+ relevant experience in Cyber security Domain)
- Basic Skills:
- Good knowledge on email protocols and network protocols
- Good understanding of threats related to email security phishing, spam, drive by download
- Knowledge of email capabilities in cloud and Office 365
- Candidate with good knowledge on other security tools like Antivirus, Proxy, and operating system security will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge on Incident, Change and Problem Management (ITIL) process
- Implement and administration experience in email filtering, SMTP errors, DNS records - MX, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Quarantine, sandboxing and related technologies
- Knowledge on cloud-based email threat prevention platforms
- Operational experience in supporting email spam filtering, phishing campaigns, quarantining, monitoring of Proofpoint Threat Attack Protection alerts, maintain and troubleshooting issues
- Perform analysis on spam and legitimate email phishing attacks. Identify the scale of the attack and make timely actions to mitigate or limit the attack
- Create and maintain operational reports like weekly and monthly reports
- Participate in incident resolution calls related to email security
- Document email security policies and process
- BEP protection
- Domain Takedown activities
- DMARC Analysis
