We're growing quickly and looking for an Email Marketing Strategist / Account Manager who can take ownership of email and SMS marketing across multiple client accounts.
Role Overview
This is not a basic email execution role.
You will own retention marketing strategy, execution, optimization, and reporting for your accounts. You'll work directly with clients and collaborate with our internal design, ads, and development teams to improve customer retention, increase repeat purchases, and grow revenue through email and SMS.
We're looking for someone who is strategic, organized, proactive, and confident managing client communication.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end email and SMS strategy for 4–6 client accounts
- Plan and execute weekly email campaigns for each brand
- Build monthly campaign calendars around promotions, holidays, launches, seasonal moments, and client goals
- Build, manage, and optimize Klaviyo flows, including:
- Welcome series
- Abandoned cart
- Browse abandonment
- Post-purchase
- Customer thank-you flows
- Win-back
- VIP / loyalty flows
- Replenishment flows
- Review request flows
- Sunset / re-engagement flows
- Segment audiences based on behavior, purchase history, engagement, customer lifecycle stage, AOV, product interest, and intent
- Create targeted email strategies for different customer segments
- Write or guide strong email copy that is clear, brand-aligned, and conversion-focused
- Improve list growth through pop-ups, forms, offer strategy, segmentation, and targeting
- Analyze performance across open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, revenue, unsubscribe rate, deliverability, and list growth
- Run A/B tests to improve subject lines, offers, creative, timing, segmentation, and flow performance
- Prepare simple weekly or monthly performance updates with insights, next steps, and recommendations
- Communicate with clients through Slack, Loom, email, and calls
- Collaborate with designers, media buyers, and developers to ensure campaigns are launched correctly and on time
- Identify opportunities to increase repeat purchases, customer lifetime value, and retention revenue
What We're Looking For
- 1–3+ years of experience in email marketing, ideally with eCommerce brands
- Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo
- Experience building campaigns, flows, segments, and reports
- Strong understanding of retention strategy and customer lifecycle marketing
- Ability to manage weekly email campaigns across multiple accounts
- Ability to read performance data and turn insights into action
- Strong understanding of key metrics, including CTR, CVR, revenue, AOV, deliverability, unsubscribe rate, and list growth
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts at once
- High ownership mindset — you do not wait to be told what to do
- Low ego, strong execution, and willingness to improve quickly
Nice to Have
- Experience with Shopify brands
- SMS marketing experience
- Agency experience
- Experience with florists, jewelry brands, beauty, fashion, home goods, or luxury eCommerce
- Basic understanding of CRO, landing pages, offers, and paid ads
- Experience creating Loom updates or client-facing reports
- Basic design taste and understanding of what makes an email visually convert
