Role Overview
We are seeking a sales-driven, data-savvy professional who can leverage marketing tools and automation platforms like MoEngage, Webengage, Hubspot — to acquire customers, improve conversions, and scale revenue. This individual will sit at the intersection of sales and marketing, using data insights, automation, and personalized communication to drive user growth.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Retention & Reactivation:
- Build and execute customer lifecycle journeys on Marketing Automation tools to increase customer retention, increase repeat orders & consultations for astrology services and products.
- Identify and reactivate dormant and inactive users through personalized offers, email & Whatapp marketing and engagement campaigns through automation tools.
- Craft contextual, emotion-driven messaging around astrology insights, events, and relevant services & products to boost reconnect rates.
Automation & Campaign Management:
- Build, test, and optimize multichannel workflows — Push Notifications, Email, SMS, WhatsApp, In-App, and Web Push — using marketing automation tools like MoEngage, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Omnisend, Mailchimp, Ortto, Ontraport etc.
- Manage customer segments (repeat buyers, one-time users, churned users, etc.) and personalize campaigns accordingly.
- Conduct A/B testing on creatives, subject lines, and offers to improve open rates, CTRs, and conversion.
Data & Insights :
- Track key metrics such as reactivation rate, retention rate, repeat purchase ratio, and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Analyze customer behavior data and feedback to fine-tune retention strategies.
- Prepare regular performance reports for leadership with actionable insights and improvement plans.
Cross-Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with Growth, Product, Content, and Creative teams to ensure alignment of campaign communication and customer experience.
Key Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in email marketing, marketing automation, CRM, and retention strategy execution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with comfort using data dashboards.
- Excellent communication and sales persuasion skills.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and accountable for measurable results.
Qualifications
- MBA in marketing/sales
- 1-2 years of experience in CRM / Retention / Sales Growth roles, preferably in eCommerce, Astrology, or D2C digital services.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales and retention numbers.
