Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager 

Location: Hyderabad

About the Role

Zenwork is a B2B SaaS company in the regulatory technology space. We are looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager to own customer and prospect engagement across the entire lifecycle. This role will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing email and in-app campaigns that drive lead nurturing, product adoption, customer engagement, retention, and revenue growth.

You will leverage platforms such as MoEngage and HubSpot to create personalized customer journeys, automate lifecycle communications, and deliver measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in email marketing, marketing automation, segmentation, and experimentation with a strong analytical mindset.

What You'll Do

Lifecycle & Email Marketing Strategy

  • Own the lifecycle marketing strategy across prospect, customer, and renewal stages.
  • Design lead nurturing programs that improve conversion from lead to customer.
  • Develop customer engagement and retention programs that drive activation, adoption, and expansion.
  • Build customer segmentation frameworks based on behavior, product usage, account profile, and lifecycle stage.

Campaign Execution & Automation

  • Build and manage email, in-app, and automated nurture journeys using MoEngage, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • Create onboarding, activation, feature adoption, renewal, upsell, and win-back campaigns.
  • Implement behavioral and event-triggered communications.
  • Optimize email deliverability, engagement, and conversion performance.
  • Collaborate with content, product, and design teams to create compelling campaign experiences.

Testing & Optimization

  • Run A/B tests across subject lines, content, CTAs, journey flows, timing, and segmentation strategies.
  • Continuously improve campaign performance through data-driven experimentation.
  • Measure incremental impact and scale successful programs.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and report on engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue metrics.
  • Conduct cohort and funnel analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build dashboards and provide actionable insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Revenue Operations teams to improve customer journeys.
  • Align lifecycle campaigns with product launches, feature adoption initiatives, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and customer data management.

What You'll Bring

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Email Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, CRM Marketing, or Marketing Automation within a B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with MoEngage, HubSpot, Braze, WebEngage, Marketo, Customer.io, or similar customer engagement and marketing automation platforms.
  • Proven experience designing and executing both lead nurturing and customer lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, customer journey orchestration, segmentation, personalization, deliverability, and campaign optimization.
  • Experience building automated workflows, behavioral triggers, lead scoring models, and multi-step nurture journeys.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using campaign performance, funnel, and customer behavior data to drive decisions.
  • Experience running A/B testing and conversion optimization programs across email and in-app channels.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and integration between marketing automation platforms and customer data sources.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Lead-to-opportunity and lead-to-customer conversion rates.
  • Email engagement metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.
  • Onboarding completion and product activation rates.
  • Customer engagement and feature adoption metrics.
  • Gross and Net Revenue Retention.
  • Customer churn and reactivation rates.
  • Expansion and renewal revenue influenced by lifecycle campaigns.
  • Campaign uplift and incremental impact through experimentation.
