Who Are We

Raptee.HV is a full- stack electric motorcycle startup with a very strong technical moat, founded in 2019 by four engineers from Chennai (Ex Tesla, Wipro), working on bringing a no-compromise upgrade motorcycle to an otherwise scooter- only EV market. Raptee is incubated at CIIC & ARAI.

Role Overview

We are looking for a ElectronicsSystem Engineer to develop and maintain EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution, and support the integration, testing, validation, and debugging of vehicle electrical systems.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution.
  • Define electrical requirements, interfaces, and specifications for vehicle systems.
  • Work on LV electrical systems, wiring harness, connectors, fuses, relays, switches, sensors, actuators, and ECUs.
  • Support integration of BMS, VCU, Motor Controller, DC-DC, Charger, Instrument Cluster, Telematics, lighting, and other electrical systems.
  • Review wiring diagrams, schematics, circuit protection, grounding, and connector selections.
  • Perform electrical system integration, vehicle bring-up, commissioning, and debugging.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using multimeter, oscilloscope, current/voltage measurement, and CAN tools.
  • Support EMI/EMC testing, electrical safety, environmental, and reliability validation.
  • Prepare and execute electrical system test plans and validation procedures.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and drive issue resolution with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
  • Support prototype builds, vehicle testing, design reviews, and production implementation

Who Can Apply

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in electrical/electronic systems or automotive/EV systems.
  • Candidates with knowledge of EV 2W electrical architecture and power distribution.
  • Knowledge of LV electrical systems, wiring harness, connectors, fuses, relays, switches, sensors, actuators, and ECUs.
  • Familiarity with BMS, VCU, Motor Controller, DC-DC, Charger, Instrument Cluster, Telematics, lighting, and other electrical systems.
  • Knowledge of wiring diagrams, schematics, circuit protection, grounding, and connector selections.
  • Familiarity with multimeter, oscilloscope, current/voltage measurement, and CAN tools.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC testing, electrical safety, environmental, and reliability validation.
  • Interest in electrical system integration, vehicle testing, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
