Role Title: Electronics Design Test Engineer
Role Purpose: Electronics testing of the Electronic Control Unit
Location : Bangalore
Note : Ability to travel 25 - 50% of time to external labs during validation phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of test plans based on internal and external requirements
- Planning the test activities of internal and external test houses.
- Very good experience in board level and product level ECU hardware verification and validation.
- Test requirement analysis (RV&S tool).
- Very good experience in creating EOL test specifications for ECU testing and test coverage analysis.
- Coordinate with external test house, EMS (manufacturing plant), SW team on Test requirements.
- Test automation using python, CAPL or vTestStudio.
- Analyze test results, evaluate fulfillment of requirements on target hardware testing level and create corresponding test reports.
- Experience is designing passive loads units for motor and inductive coil testing.
- Very good experience on working with Vector tools such as CANoe, CANanalyser, VFlash, and vTEST studio.
- Very good experience in Requirement analysis
- Good experience in CAN bus simulation (RBS) using CANoe.
- Motivated to work from office (25% flexible for work from home with prior alignment).
- Formal qualifications required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
Previous experience required:
- 3-7 years of experience in electronics hardware design and testing in automotive sector.
- Very Good experience in automotive ECU design and testing (hardware verification and validations of DC/BLDC motor circuits, high/low side switch, power supply and safety concept).
- Understanding of automotive development and test processes
- Excellent communication, teamwork
- Independent worker who takes the initiative.
