About Truss Health

Truss Health is building an AI-powered platform for early detection of post-surgical infections. We combine hardware sensing, intelligent software, and clinical workflows to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications after surgery.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Electronics Engineer who enjoys building, testing, and troubleshooting real-world hardware systems. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working at the intersection of engineering and executionsomeone who can design circuits but also solder, assemble, and debug prototypes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, solder, and rework PCBs (SMD and through-hole components)
  • Build and test hardware prototypes for medical sensing devices
  • Troubleshoot circuit issues using multimeter, oscilloscope, and debugging tools
  • Support PCB design, layout, and bring-up activities
  • Integrate sensors, microcontrollers, and communication modules
  • Work closely with software and data teams to ensure hardware reliability
  • Document designs, test results, and iteration learnings
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics (ECE/EEE or related field)
  • 1-2 year experience
  • Strong hands-on soldering skills (SMD + through-hole)
  • Experience with PCB assembly and basic circuit debugging
  • Familiarity with tools like multimeter, oscilloscope
  • Basic understanding of microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, STM32, etc.)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with PCB design tools (KiCad, Altium, Eagle)
  • Exposure to embedded systems or firmware
  • Experience working on medical devices, wearables, or IoT systems
  • Understanding of basic quality or regulatory processes
