EDI Lead – Employee Benefits & COBRA Integrations | Hyderabad (Hybrid / Remote)
We are hiring an EDI Lead to drive large-scale Employee Benefits integrations and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.
If you have strong experience in EDI 834, COBRA, and Benefits Administration, this role offers a great opportunity to own critical integrations and work closely with global stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end EDI integrations (EDI 834, flat files, XML, CSV, APIs)
- Manage COBRA & Employee Benefits data flows (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, FSA, HSA)
- Lead and mentor a team of 10–15 EDI analysts/developers
- Ensure accurate, secure, and timely data exchange with carriers and vendors
- Troubleshoot issues, manage escalations, and drive resolutions
- Work closely with Product, QA, Client Services, and Operations teams
- Support new client onboarding & carrier integrations
- Maintain documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance
What We're Looking For
- 10–12+ years in EDI / Data Integrations
- Strong domain experience in Employee Benefits & COBRA (mandatory)
- Experience in TPA / Benefits Administration environment
- Hands-on expertise in EDI 834 and flat file integrations
- Experience with tools like Boomi, MuleSoft, SSIS or similar
- Strong SQL and data troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Salesforce / Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Proven team management experience (8–15 members)
- Strong communication & stakeholder management skills
Good to Have
- Exposure to HRIS systems (Workday, ADP, Dayforce, Paylocity)
- Knowledge of HIPAA / SOC2 compliance
- Agile / project management experience
- Open to remote candidates (travel to Hyderabad once in 6 months)
