Job description:
- The EDI Senior Consultant :
- • Provides an effective EDI onboarding of Volvo group customers
- • Provides support to all EDI production processes
- • Supports business in prioritization of scope and in selecting/designing optimal Process & IT solutions based on Stakeholder and end user needs, and Business processes. At more senior levels holds process specializations to act as domain experts.
- • Works in pre-studies, projects or support the runtime delivery
- • Knows the EDI standards existing globally for B2B integrations
- • Support solutions of end-to-end integrations according to principles and EDI guidelines
- REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Strong understanding of global EDI standards, including EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, IDoc, and others.
- Experience with communication protocols like AS2, SFTP, OFTP, and FTP.
- Hands-on experience with Seeburger BIS
- Experience analyzing EDI errors, exceptions, and resolving production issues prompt
- Proven ability to onboard external partners, suppliers, and customers to EDI platforms
- Good communication & presentation skills
- Business analyst mindset
- Knowledge of communication protocols and middleware used for external and internal integrations will be an additional benefit
- Knowledge of cloud-based EDI solutions and APIs for modern B2B integrations ( nice to have )
