Electrician

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems, wiring, control panels, lighting, and equipment.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose electrical issues and faults efficiently and ensure timely corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Installation Work: Install, test, and commission electrical circuits, panels, and systems as per technical drawings and safety standards.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all electrical safety standards, company policies, and local regulations while performing tasks.
• Equipment Handling: Maintain and operate electrical testing tools, meters, and equipment effectively.
• Documentation: Record maintenance activities, report issues, and update maintenance logs for future reference.
• Coordination: Collaborate with facility and maintenance teams to support daily operations and handle emergency electrical repairs.
• Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities for energy conservation and assist in implementing efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair (industrial / commercial / residential setup).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring layouts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, lighting control, and generator systems is an advantage.
• Physically fit, proactive, and willing to work in shifts or attend emergency calls when required.
