Electrician

Medhavi Foundation is a not-for-profit organization committed to bridging the gap between the employability of rural youth and the manpower needs of various industries. Operating skill development centers across seven states in India, Medhavi Foundation has successfully trained and placed over 6,000 individuals in the past six years. With partnerships from the National Skill Development Corporation, state skill missions, and corporate entities, the organization is poised to create employment opportunities for 50,000 youth in the next five years. As a partner in the Skill-India campaign, Medhavi also operates Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras, delivering high-quality training to empower the rural workforce.

This is an on-site internship role for an Electrician located in Bengaluru South. The Electrician Intern will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings. Day-to-day tasks include troubleshooting electrical issues, performing routine inspections, reading and interpreting technical diagrams, and providing support to senior electricians. Adherence to safety regulations at all times is a critical aspect of this role.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and understanding of technical diagrams
• Skill in troubleshooting electrical problems and performing repairs
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Strong hand-eye coordination and physical stamina for manual work
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
• Relevant technical certifications or training in electrical work
• Prior internship or hands-on experience in the electrical field is advantageous
