Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician / Wireman, Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in manufacturing, steel processing, CRGO lamination, transformer, or engineering industries.
Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and automation equipment used in CRGO lamination sheet processing. The role ensures uninterrupted production, machine reliability, electrical safety, and compliance with maintenance standards. Typical CRGO plants use slitting lines, cut-to-length machines, annealing furnaces, compressors, transformers, PLCs, and motor-driven equipment that require preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of plant electrical systems and machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in motors, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and industrial automation systems.
- Maintain and repair slitting lines, cut-to-length machines, annealing furnaces, and transformer core manufacturing equipment.
- Inspect and maintain transformers, switchgear, MCC panels, LT/HT panels, generators, and power distribution systems.
