Position: Electrician
Work Location: Qatar, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Kuwait
Role Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installations for new constructions and existing buildings.
- Inspect electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensure all installations are compliant with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Conduct circuit testing to determine electrical flow and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals and engineers for project development.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, changes, and inspections.
- Adhere to safety standards to avoid accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
- Establish relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Educate clients on maintenance and care of electrical systems.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to service calls and perform necessary repairs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrician in a commercial or residential setting.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
- Familiarity with a variety of electrical tools and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid electrician license or certification as required by local laws.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Knowledge of AC and DC systems.
- Willingness to travel to Qatar and work on-site.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Previous experience in international projects is a plus.
