Responsibilities
- Perform control wiring and power wiring for packaging machines as per CAD electrical diagrams
- Read and interpret electrical drawings to ensure correct installation and connections
- Install, test, and maintain electrical components such as relays, contactors, sensors, switches, and drives
- Carry out power calculations for electrical components to ensure proper load handling and safe operation
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, control panels, and wiring systems
- Ensure proper cable routing, termination, labeling, and neatness in wiring work
- Support machine installation, trials, and smooth functioning of electrical systems in production
- Maintain electrical safety standards and follow all safety procedures on the shop floor
- Coordinate with Mechanical and maintenance teams to resolve issues and minimize downtime
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper handling of tools and equipment
- Assist in regular inspection and preventive maintenance of electrical systems
Requirements
- ITI (Electrician) or equivalent qualification
- Strong ability to read and interpret CAD electrical diagrams
- Good knowledge of electrical components such as relays, contactors, sensors, drives, and switches
- Strong understanding of control wiring and power wiring
- Knowledge of electrical power calculations and proper load handling
- Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing instruments, and panel wiring
- Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding skills in machines and control panels
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and industrial practices
- Ability to work independently on shop floor tasks with minimal supervision
- Good teamwork, communication, and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
