Role Description The Electrical Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The technician will install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems related to control panels, motor starters, and terminals. Daily tasks include inspecting components, diagnosing faults, performing troubleshooting, and completing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical diagrams, using testing instruments, adhering to safety standards, and coordinating with supervisors and team members to support efficient warehouse and workshop operations. The technician will also document work performed and assist in quality checks for supplied electrical products.
Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Solid understanding of electricity principles and practical application in industrial and commercial settings.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering basics, including circuits, load calculations, and safety practices.
• Hands-on experience working with electrical equipment such as control panels, motor starters, and terminal plates.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams, and use standard electrical testing tools safely.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
• Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or wholesale electrical environment is an advantage.
