We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to support our project teams in the installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Job Overview
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, safety requirements, and applicable industry standards.
The role will work closely with Electrical Engineers, Testing & Commissioning Engineers, Commissioning Managers, and project teams to ensure electrical systems are installed and operating safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Job Overview

The role will work closely with Electrical Engineers, Testing & Commissioning Engineers, Commissioning Managers, and project teams to ensure electrical systems are installed and operating safely, correctly, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, testing, commissioning, inspection, and maintenance activities.
- Assist engineers and commissioning teams during testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Carry out electrical testing using appropriate test instruments and equipment.
- Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, earth resistance, and other applicable electrical tests.
- Assist with testing and commissioning of LV electrical systems, distribution boards, panels, MCCs, transformers, cables, lighting, power systems, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Perform cable termination, glanding, dressing, labeling, and connection activities.
- Inspect electrical installations and identify defects, incomplete works, or non-conformities.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and assist in identifying the root cause of equipment or system failures.
- Verify electrical installations against approved drawings and project requirements.
- Record test results, inspection findings, readings, and equipment status accurately.
- Assist in preparing testing and commissioning documentation, checklists, inspection reports, and test records.
- Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, technicians, and other project disciplines to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure all tools, testing equipment, and instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
- Follow approved Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Risk Assessments, and project procedures.
- Comply with all company, client, and project Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the work area is safe and organized.
- Perform other technical duties assigned by the Electrical Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Project Manager.
- Diploma, Technical Certificate, or Vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Electrical Technician.
- Experience in MEP, electrical contracting, testing & commissioning, infrastructure, commercial, industrial, or building projects.
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and testing practices.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and SLDs.
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing instruments and tools.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work at project sites and meet project deadlines.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- Electrical Testing & Commissioning.
- LV/MV electrical systems.
- Electrical panels, MCCs, DBs, transformers, and switchgear.
- Cable testing and termination.
- Earthing and lightning protection systems.
- Electrical power and lighting systems.
- MEP installation and commissioning projects.
- Large-scale infrastructure, commercial, industrial, airport, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
- Experience working with Testing & Commissioning (T&C) teams or Commissioning Authorities.

- Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration, where applicable.
