Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Site Engineer with hands-on experience in executing and supervising electrical works for commercial and residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality installation, adherence to safety standards, and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all on-site electrical activities for commercial and residential projects.
- Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, civil teams, contractors, and consultants.
- Review electrical layouts, load calculations, and technical drawings.
- Ensure proper installation of systems such as:
- HT/LT panels
- Transformers
- DG sets
- Lighting systems
- Earthing & lightning protection systems
- Monitor site progress and prepare daily/weekly reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Manage material planning, procurement, and inventory at site.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–10 years of experience in real estate/construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IS codes, safety regulations).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and BOQs.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-rise buildings, malls, IT parks, or large residential townships.
- Exposure to MEP coordination.
- Strong problem-solving and site management abilities.
