We are seeking a Controls & PLC Engineer experienced in Allen-Bradley/ Siemens/Omron systems to design, program, and implement control systems for equipment in semiconductor environments. The role includes PLC programming, electrical design, panel engineering, and system integration.
Key Responsibilities
- PLC & Automation:
- Develop PLC programs using Allen-Bradley (CompactLogix / ControlLogix) or Siemens S71200 PLC,
- Programming using Studio 5000
- Ladder Logic and Structured Text programming
- PID control implementation
- Sensor and actuator integration
- HMI Development:
- Develop HMI using FactoryTalk View
- Recipe management and alarm handling
- Electrical Design:
- Design schematics using AutoCAD / DraftSight (.dwg)
- Panel layout, wiring diagrams, terminal blocks
- Load calculation and heat dissipation analysis
- Compliance with NRTL/UL
- Grounding and bonding plans
- EMC/EMI design considerations
- Electrical bill of material (BOM) - Excel Format
- Electrical panel load analysis - Excel Format
- Calculate electrical panel SCCR - Excel Format
- Wiring & Integration:
- Cable schedules, I/O wiring diagrams
- Integration with sensors, valves, pumps etc
- EMC / EMI:
- Proper grounding and shielding
- Noise reduction design practices
- Testing:
- FAT execution and debugging
- System validation

Work Experience
PLC Logic & Control Algorithms
- Strong expertise in Ladder Logic programming
- Experience in sequence control and state machines
- Development of automation algorithms for:
- Flow control
- Ratio control
- Process sequencing
- PID loop implementation
- Analog signal handling (4–20 mA)
- Fault handling and interlocks
- Required Skills
- Allen-Bradley PLC (Studio 5000)/ or Siemens S71200 PLC,
- HMI Development
- Electrical schematic design (DWG)
- Panel design and industrial automation knowledge
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering
- 8–15 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Experience
- Semiconductor / cleanroom systems
- Chemical handling systems
- Skid-based automation systems
