Job Description

  • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of all electrical installations and equipment.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable DISH and electrical safety requirements.
  • Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain required records and certificates.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, motors, MCCs, PCCs and other electrical equipment.
  • Monitor electrical preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
  • Ensure proper earthing, electrical protection and safety systems.
  • Conduct electrical safety inspections and identify unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure timely closure of electrical safety observations and audit findings.
  • Supervise electrical maintenance personnel and contractors.
  • Support investigation of electrical incidents and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain electrical drawings, test reports, inspection records and statutory documents.
  • Coordinate with DISH/electrical authorities and other statutory agencies whenever required.
