Electrical (MEP) Engineer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a MEP Electrical Design Engineer capable of preparing design calculations, drawings, and documentation for electrical and ELV services. The ideal candidate should have strong fundamentals, good drafting skills, and the ability to work independently within a structured consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare electrical conduit layouts and lighting/power circuit layouts with switch box details
• Develop DB schedules, main line SLDs, and ELV SLDs (Tele/Data, TV, CCTV, Access Control, etc.)
• Design fire alarm and public‑addressable system layouts
• Perform electrical load calculations, transformer sizing, and LT/LV panel design
• Size and select DG sets, prepare DG control panel details
• Prepare DBR (Design Basis Reports) for electrical and ELV services
• Prepare BOQs, rough cost estimates, and technical documentation for electrical works
• Coordinate with architects, structural teams, and other MEP disciplines for integrated design
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications

Software Skills Required:

• AutoCAD 2D (mandatory)
• ETAP
• Dialux
• MS Office
