Job Purpose: The Lead - Projects (Electrical)-ACSL provides strategic leadership for the electrical aspects of district cooling system (DCS) projects, ensuring the successful delivery of Greenfield and Brownfield initiatives across India. This role drives the coordination and execution of electrical systems within the design-build-own-operate (DBOO) framework, focusing on project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The position ensures effective resource allocation, risk management, and compliance with regulatory and safety standards, contributing to the seamless integration of electrical systems while supporting the rapid expansion of ACSL's DCS portfolio. This role plays a key part in achieving operational excellence, driving business growth, and optimizing project delivery for sustainable long-term success.

Responsibilities

Lead - Projects (Electrical)-ACSL

Design And Technical Support

Ensure electrical system accuracy by analysing technical drawings, interpreting specifications, and aligning electrical requirements with project objectives, ensuring compliance with regulations and client expectations.

Drive project quality by overseeing on-site inspections, ensuring electrical services align with approved drawings and consultant specifications to reduce rework and enhance overall project efficiency.

Project Planning And Execution

Ensure on-time project delivery by developing and tracking project timelines with clear milestones and resource allocation, minimizing delays and ensuring efficient completion within scope and budget.

Ensure budget compliance by tracking project expenses and addressing any discrepancies, ensuring the project stays within approved financial limits.

Resolve electrical service defects promptly by managing and closing contractor defect lists on time, reducing project downtime and enhancing quality.

Support accurate project bids by assisting in the development of competitive and technically sound bids that meet client specifications and organizational goals.

Quality Control And Testing

Ensure system reliability and performance by overseeing testing and commissioning of electrical systems, meeting performance criteria, and reducing issues during project handover.

Innovation And Best Practices

Implement cutting-edge technologies by adopting industry best practices and integrating advanced electrical systems, optimizing project efficiency and outcomes.

Promote continuous improvement by researching and incorporating innovative electrical solutions, improving project design and execution.

Team Management

Enhance team performance by identifying training needs, providing growth opportunities, and fostering collaboration to ensure the team meets project requirements and organizational goals.

Stakeholder Management

Ensure project alignment by maintaining clear communication with internal teams, contractors, clients, and regulatory bodies, resolving issues within specified timeframes, and ensuring that all project milestones are met on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:

Engineering Graduate Electrical

Work Experience (Range Of Years)

Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience

Work experience with leading organizations

Good hands-on experience on the execution of green field and brownfield projects and exposure on T&C and O&M aspects of the project, preferably in MEP/HVAC/Utilities/Real Estate sector.
