Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Electrical Engineer – Customer Services with hands-on experience in
industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in
Caster, Tunnel Furnace and Rolling Mill environments. The role involves electrical maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting, shift handling, preventive maintenance and coordination with customer and maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute electrical maintenance activities for Caster, Tunnel Furnace and Rolling Mill equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform breakdown analysis of HT/LT electrical systems, HVAC systems and industrial electrical equipment.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens drives: S120, G120; ABB VFDs: ACS 580, ACS 800, ACS 850.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to supervisors, foremen, fitters and technicians.
- Plan, organise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance and shift activities.
- Develop maintenance strategies, work instructions and maintenance methods.
- Create and implement preventive maintenance procedures and plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
- Plan and coordinate project material and manpower requirements.
- Monitor work-in-progress and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Prepare daily progress reports, maintenance logs, reports, PPTs and Excel-based documentation.
- Manage critical spares to minimise breakdown time and improve equipment availability.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety systems, safety procedures and safe working practices.
- Maintain effective coordination and communication with team members and customers.

Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in Caster, Tunnel Furnace or Rolling Mill.
- Alternatively, Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 6–8 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and shift handling of Caster, Tunnel Furnace and/or Rolling Mill electrical systems.
- Supervisory License for HT/LT systems is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABB Drives will be highly preferred.
- Ability to join within one month from the date of offer.
