Prime Function:
Responsible for ensuring uninterrupted equipment operations by leading electrical maintenance activities, handling shift breakdowns, executing preventive and predictive maintenance, and maintaining compliance with IATF standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle shift breakdowns and ensure timely resolution to minimize equipment downtime.
- Plan and execute Preventive and Predictive Maintenance (PM & PdM) activities for all electrical systems.
- Maintain MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) records and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure document control and maintenance records as per IATF 16949 requirements.
- Supervise and guide a team of maintenance technicians to achieve operational targets.
- Manage and control electrical spare parts inventory to ensure optimum stock levels.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC-based systems and control panels used in forging operations.
- Monitor forging equipment such as induction billet heaters and forging presses, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
- Support audits such as ENMS (Energy Management System) and EOHS (Environment, Occupational Health & Safety).
- Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvement actions to enhance reliability and reduce downtime.
Authority:
- Approve maintenance schedules and spare part requisitions within the assigned budget.
- Recommend shutdown activities and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during maintenance operations.
