Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer - HDS

Key Responsibilities

• Designing signal flow diagrams, Interconnection wiring, Cable block diagram and Cable BOM
• Migration of Legacy control platforms (e.g., Mark V, Mark VI, Woodward, Siemens or ABB) to GE Mark VIe control system.
• Collaborating with clients & vendors to resolve engineering queries and incorporate approved changes into engineering deliverables.
• Coordinate with P&ID team, accessory team and controls team to ensure wiring and interconnection drawings accurately reflect devices, JB terminations and Power looping.
• Provide on-site technical support during plant outages to immediately resolve engineering queries.

Work Experience

Should have 3 to 6 years of experience, with below skills:

• Knowledge of Instrumentation and control valves, technical specification, Instrument loop diagrams and termination/wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of DCS and Controls I/O requirements, marshaling, cabinet interfaces and signal termination details.
• Knowledge in different standards (IEEE, NEC, IEC/NFPA etc.) for selection and sizing of components & cables.
• Understanding of vendor documentation, datasheets & wiring diagrams.
• CAD Tools: Advanced proficiency in Eplan electric P8 (for SFD, Loop diagram, Cable block diagram & automated BOM generation)
