Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer- ES

As a Electrical & instrumentation Engineer, You will report to Manager - E&I

Job Overview/Mission:

  • Ensure integrity and transparency by applying FAM and the Business Code of Practice where relevant.
  • To perform the activities in E&I Engineering function a sustainable way and to match the target of project deliverables and quality of engineering output.
  • Follow the engineering execution process and align with the other functions within ES to meet the on time in full deliveries.
  • Release of Technical specification of major items with First Time Right input
  • Prepare and maintain the BOM and Engineering drawings with respect to change management system.
  • Participate/present Design Review and ensure compliance of customer technical specifications as well as manufacturing as well as testing + transportation aspects.
  • Review and validate the technical offers from vendors and provide engineering comments and approvals.
  • Extend support required on shop floor. Attend and provide appropriate solution for the problems on shop floor related to engineering.
  • On time in full and FTR Engineering deliverables of all Projects to achieve CDD.
  • Follow Lessons learnt from previsions projects, take appropriate action, and maintain lessons during the execution.
  • Quick response to the internal as well as external Customers and support required to resolve site issues.
To succeed, you will need

Qualifications/Knowledge & Work Experience:

  • A Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical/Instruments/Electronic/ Electrical Engineering
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience with compressor industry/Oil and Gas company/ Rotating equipment industry.

Essential Functions/Skill /Competencies:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
  • Experience with Gas & Process Industries and understanding of process.
  • Capable of Managing Multiple Projects.
  • Capable of reading drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with essential software like AutoCAD/EPLAN.
  • Experience with ERP system/software like BPCS/SAP & Document Management system like Enovia.
  • Ability to handle internal /external stakeholders effectively.
