Job Summary

The Electrical Executive will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and reliability of all electrical systems and equipment within a manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities

. ..Maintenance & Operations:..
. Oversee and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for all electrical installations, including power distribution systems, motors, control panels, lighting, and instrumentation.
. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, power outages, and equipment breakdowns, implementing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
. Monitor the performance of electrical assets, identify potential issues, and recommend improvements for enhanced reliability and energy efficiency.
. Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures, and company EHS policies.
. Supervise and train junior electrical technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
. Manage spare parts inventory for electrical components and equipment.

. Participate in the planning and execution of electrical projects, including new installations, upgrades, and modifications.
. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, mechanical, EHS) to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall plant operations.
. Implement energy conservation initiatives and identify opportunities for cost reduction through optimized electrical usage.
. Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment specifications, and project documentation.

Job Qualifications

. ..Education:.. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering
. ..Experience:.. Minimum of 3-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance and operations within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the FMCG sector.
. ..Technical Skills:..
. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including high and low voltage distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), PLCs, VFDs, and instrumentation.
. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment.
. Familiarity with relevant electrical safety codes and regulations (e.g., IS standards, IEC).
