We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimation Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed electrical cost estimates for projects, collaborating with engineers and project managers, and ensuring accurate budgeting and resource allocation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate electrical estimation and cost analysis for projects.
- Review project plans and specifications to understand scope of work and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary data for estimates.
- Maintain a database of historical costs to assist in future estimates.
- Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
- Assist in the procurement process by evaluating vendor quotes and bids.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on estimation progress.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in electrical estimation or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
