Electrical Engineering Specialist

Role Description The Electrical Engineering Specialist will work on-site in Chennai in a full-time capacity, supporting electrical systems across Miryalan's diverse projects and brands. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electrical circuits and systems, performing calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical solutions into products and infrastructure, troubleshoot technical issues, and optimize performance and reliability. The role also involves preparing documentation, technical reports, and specifications, as well as contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in electrical engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in core Electrical Engineering and Electricity principles, with the ability to apply them to practical, complex projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design, including schematics, load calculations, component selection, and system layout.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data interpretation, and performance optimization of electrical systems.
• Effective Communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, present technical information clearly, and create accurate documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Experience with relevant design and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB, or similar) is beneficial.
• Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
