As an Electrical Engineer, you are responsible for designing, modifying, and troubleshooting electrical or electronic engineering assemblies, layouts, schematics, and drawings to advance the equipment that supports our technology. Using your technical experience and critical thinking skills, you will perform engineering analysis, generate test reports, develop innovative solutions, and create documentation for product releases. You will also coordinate the procurement and assembly of components, identify sources of critical parts, and resolve technical issues to ensure peak performance.

Function/Position Description:

Electrical Design Engineer E3

General Profile: Liaison with the New Product Design & Development and Manufacturing Engineering Departments to facilitate their requirements through Engineering Drawings and Procedures for New CIP's. Demonstrates higher level knowledge and skills within own discipline. Solves varied and moderately complex problems. Exhibits knowledge of the company, processes, and customers.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Indicators :

  • Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for systems and components based on project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scope.
  • Perform calculations, simulations, and analysis to ensure electrical systems are efficient, reliable, and safe. This includes power distribution, load calculations, and circuit design.
  • Should be capable of handling New Product Design & Development activity including Product structuring and Release Process.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations, including adherence to SEMI standards for semiconductor equipment.
  • Solves complex problems takes a new perspective on existing solutions exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and construction teams, to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify and procure electrical components, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervision.
  • Technically lead and/or executes engineering projects, including development of key suppliers.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.E /M.Tech in Electrical Engineering

  • 10-15 years of experience in a related field

Specific experience requirement:

  • Should have min 4-5 years hands on experience in a Manufacturing organization.
  • 3+ Years in years of work experience in a design environment in semiconductor

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of industry best practices, key business drivers, competitive landscape, and the ability to integrate your area of expertise with crossfunctional domains.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience leading smallscale projects as required.
  • Indepth knowledge of electrical design principles, including circuit theory, power distribution, and control systems.
  • Handson experience in electrical panel design, cable and harness design using tools such as AutoCAD, EPlan, Zuken E3S, or equivalent platforms.
  • Expertise in selecting appropriate electrical switchgear (circuit breakers, fuses, relays, etc.) aligned with system needs, load characteristics, and applicable safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with relevant electrical standards at local, national, and international levels, including SEMI, IEC, UL, ISO, NEC, and IEEE.
  • Experience in creating and executing test plans, performing troubleshooting, and validating electrical components and systems.
  • Understanding of controllerbased automation, including Digital I/O and Analog I/O interfaces.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with thirdparty vendors to assess manufacturing feasibility of components and subassemblies and to prepare accurate engineering cost estimates.
