Qualifications and Experience Required
- Minimum B. Tech / M. Tech from an institution of repute.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of design in the water industry.
- An appreciation of the implications of works on the environment and knowledge of sustainable solutions, water and wastewater processes and health and safety legislation.
- The ability to work with engineers from all disciplines and other industry professionals to optimise and develop bespoke and innovative designs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT or Plant 3D as well as MS Office Software.
- Strong interpersonal / team working skills, with a good working relationship with all levels of the organisation, clients and contractors
Key points:
- A degree or higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Solid experience in a project engineering environment, with a strong understanding of electrical design and project delivery.
- A proven ability to design and administer electrical projects, particularly for water sector assets.
- Excellent knowledge of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment, including instrumentation and power supply design.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to apply practical experience to complex challenges.
- Experience in applying CDM regulations and ensuring safety standards are adhered to in designs.
- A proactive approach to learning and development, with a keen interest in embracing new technologies and improving efficiency.
- A commitment to safety, ensuring all designs comply with CDM regulations and health and safety practices.
