Electrical Engineer

vConstruct , a Pune-based Construction Technology company, seeks an Electrical Engineer to assist in the design and documentation of building electrical systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions across all phases of project design.

Responsibilities

• Support development of electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations throughout all phases of project design under the supervision of Sr/Lead Electrical Engineer/Manager and/or US-Licensed Engineer
• Assist in developing electrical system designs and layouts for building power, lighting, and low voltage systems
• Perform electrical calculations and analyses using working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, BIM modelers, and external stakeholders to produce coordinated 2D and 3D electrical models using CAD/BIM tools
• Ensure electrical designs are accurate, coordinated, and aligned with project scope, budget, and schedule requirements
• Support construction administration activities, including reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs, and participating in site visits as directed

Skills

• 4+ years of experience in electrical design for building systems
• Working knowledge of electrical design principles, power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems
• Basic understanding of applicable electrical codes and standards
• Familiarity with CAD and BIM tools such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
