We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in UGNX and wiring design to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry, focusing on electrical systems and wiring harness development. You will be responsible for designing and validating electrical systems, collaborating with various engineering teams, and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for automotive applications using UGNX software.
• Create and maintain wiring harness designs, schematics, and layouts according to industry standards.
• Conduct tests and simulations to validate electrical designs and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, product managers, and manufacturing to optimize designs for production.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in prototypes and production units and provide effective solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation including design reports, specifications, and user manuals.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in electrical design and wiring harness development in the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in UGNX (Unigraphics NX) for electrical design and modeling.
• Strong knowledge of wiring harness design principles and automotive electrical systems.
• Experience with simulation tools and testing methodologies for electrical systems.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 26262 for functional safety in automotive applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
