Job Title: Electrical Engineer Schematic Design (Rolling Stock)

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with strong experience in schematic design and railway/rolling stock systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in electrical design tools and a solid understanding of train systems, wiring, and component selection. Candidates from small-scale industries are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layouts
  • Create and maintain integrated and CPS schematics
  • Perform electrical component selection and sizing based on system requirements
  • Design and validate electrical systems for Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock
  • Ensure compliance with railway standards and interface requirements
  • Interpret vehicle architecture and integrate electrical systems accordingly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system integration and design validation
  • Support troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Proven experience in schematic design and electrical system development
  • Hands-on experience in Metro, Light Rail, or EMU rolling stock projects

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD tools: IGE-XAO, E3 Series (E3S), and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Harness design and wiring
  • Integrated/CPS schematics
  • Electrical interface requirements
  • Experience in selecting and sizing electrical components, including:
  • Switchgear
  • Protection devices
  • Circuit breakers (CB)
  • Relays and contactors
  • Connectors and terminals
  • Understanding of railway standards and industry practices
  • Knowledge of rolling stock subsystems such as:
  • Traction systems
  • Door control systems
  • Communication systems
  • Ability to understand and interpret vehicle architecture
