JD - Electrical/SOLAR/Audit
Planning for New Solar Projects
- Assess available space, annual energy consumption, and DISCOM regulations for Net Metering.
- Finalize solar plant capacity accordingly.
- Prepare and finalize Scope of Work including RFQ, BOM, and Vendor Scope.
- Review and finalize project drawings/layouts in coordination with plant team, vendor, and internal departments.
- Calculate expected unit generation, cost savings, and ROI.
- Report findings to reporting manager for Capex and budget approval.
- Coordinate with plant and finance teams for asset card/WBS creation.
- Support procurement and plant teams with PR and PO processes.
New Solar Plant Project Management
- Coordinate with vendor on execution planning and timeline scheduling.
- Review and finalize drawings, layouts, and BOM.
- Collaborate with plant team for execution planning and approvals for additional materials/services.
- Verify vendor invoices and process bill payments.
- Maintain accurate records of project documentation and payments.
Managing O&M of Installed Solar Plants
- Define and finalize Scope of Work including RFQ, BOM, and Vendor Scope.
- Assist plant and procurement teams with PR and PO for O&M services.
- Coordinate monthly O&M activities between vendor and plant team.
- Review vendor bills and confirm SRN/GRN with necessary approvals.
- Maintain records of service reports and payment history.
Addressing Breakdowns of Solar Plants and electrical panels
- Coordinate with manufacturer for warranty-based repairs or replacements.
- If out of warranty, obtain vendor quotations and initiate PR/PO process.
- Plan and support procurement of new equipment for maintenance needs.
- Aware about the design of LT panels and cables, understanding of circuit layouts.
Open Access Power Procurement Management
- Manage all activities related to Open Access procurement.
- Coordinate with vendors for billing and Bank Guarantees (BG).
- Verify vendor bills and liaise with electricity department for unit adjustments.
- Cross-check electricity bills with energy account statements.
- Process vendor payments post-verification.
- Share daily power drawl forecasts and schedules with vendors.
- Calculate monthly cost savings and report to reporting manager.
- Initiate BG processes for DISCOM or vendors.
- Prepare Scope of Work for required services and coordinate PR, PO, and SRN.
Planning for New Open Access Projects
- Finalize PPA capacity based on TOD-wise consumption and DISCOM rules.
- Calculate ROI based on applicable tariffs.
- Review and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements with vendors.
- Coordinate with finance team for PPA discussions.
- Support plant team with procurement, asset card creation, and budget planning.
