Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in AutoCAD and experience in electrical design for residential, commercial, and hospital projects. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling load calculations, SLD preparation, BOQ creation, and detailed electrical drawings. Strong communication skills and a sound understanding of electrical safety standards and codes are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and electrical layouts using AutoCAD.
- Conduct load calculations, system design, and power distribution planning.
- Develop detailed electrical designs and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders for integrated project planning.
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards (e.g., IS, IEC, NEC).
- Ensure accuracy and quality of electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Support on-site teams with design interpretation and modifications if needed.
- Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and project discussions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Proficient in AutoCAD for electrical drawing and design.
