Key Responsibilities
Design experience in MV/LV system and associated equipment/design (SLD, Load List, Switchgear, MCC, Motors, UPS, Control Panels, Junction Boxes, BOQ).
- Preparation of Electrical schematics GA, BoM and SLD for LV/MV Drives
- Preparation of Electrical Load List, Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams and modification and re-detailing on Electrical Design
- Experienced in Cable Sizing and Selection, Equipment Layout Design, Earthing & Lighting Protection Design, Short Circuit & Voltage Drop Calculations.
- Preparation of Technical Documents like Equipment Specifications/Datasheets.
- Preparation of Cable Tray/Conduit laying and installation drawings Ability to develop various substation and power distribution scheme single line diagram.
- Ability to develop/lead physical substation layouts and coordinate civil and mechanical disciplines.
- Perform preliminary studies for grounding, lightning protection, arc flash hazard, and other studies required for substation design.
- Experienced in coordinating with piping/Mechanical/Instrumentation designer for Electrical Design Interface details
- Provide technical clarification of designs with suppliers, manufacturing, and services teams.
- Design work will include design changes to cables, electrical cabinets, inductors, breakers, transformers, fans, motors, control panels etc.
- provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- IEC/UL/NFPA Standards knowledge is preferred.

Work Experience
Tools / Equipment Required
- AutoCAD 2D is must, AutoCAD 3D capability would be an added advantage
- 2-4 Years of engineering experience in electricals
- Min. 5+ years of Electrical design for Industrial drives / Control Panels like PCC, MCC, Switchboards, PLC Panels etc.,
- Preferred experience/knowledge in Electrical design / AUTOCAD / E-Plan P8 2024/26, ProD Wire Harness tool or Equivalent
- IEC/UL/NFPA Standards knowledge is preferred.
Qualification/Certification Required
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Exposure or certification in Instrumentation / Industrial Automation is an advantage.
