Electrical Engineer - Primary Substation Construction

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer specialized in Primary Substation Construction to join our team in India. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and oversight of electrical systems for substations, ensuring that all projects meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for primary substations.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies for substation projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during construction.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to project progress.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction and testing phases.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10-20 years of experience in electrical engineering, specifically in substation construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with national and international electrical standards and regulations.
• Experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
