Job opening: Electrical Engineer – Operations & Maintenance.

1. Job Summary:

a. The Electrical Engineer - Operation & Maintenance is a middle leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving all electrical projects execution activities for renewable energy projects within the organization.

b. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and grid integration specific to renewable energy technologies.

c. This Engineer will ensure the delivery of innovative, high- quality execution of installation and commissioning of Electrical panels, Transformers, transmission lines, etc, while supervising a team of Vendors to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards.

3. Responsibilities:

a. Oversee the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for renewable energy projects, such as solar, wind, hybrid and energy storage systems.

b. Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., IEC, CBIP, CEA, etc.).

c. Review the electrical design documents, including electrical drawings, specifications, and system integration plans.

d. Visit the site to supervise the execution activities being performed by the vendors.

e. Develop and implement standard engineering processes, methodologies, and best practices to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety.

f. Conduct risk assessments related to electrical design and mitigate potential hazards.

g. Present design proposals and project updates to senior management ensuring alignment for project plans.

h. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design challenges that may arise during project execution

4. Qualifications:

a. Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

b. At least 5 years of experience in electrical design and Project Execution

c. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including power systems and protection schemes

d. Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP (desirable), or similar tools.

e. Good understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

5. Working conditions:

a. The work location is at Khandke Ahilyanagar, Maharashtra.
