Role Summary
- As an Electrical Engineer at Burns & McDonnell India, you will be a key member of a dynamic group that excels in designing complex electrical systems for global Oil & Gas projects. From conceptual layouts to the final build, you will provide pivotal design insights and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve world-class outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiar with major regulations and industry codes and standards affecting standard design work in own discipline
- Knows technical theory and engineering principles in discipline
- Understands and prepares basic electrical system, One-Lines, Metering & Relaying, wiring and schematics
- Understands basics of low voltage power systems and can apply them for sizing & selection of electrical equipment
- Apply solid knowledge in electrical theory and engineering principles to produce robust design solutions
- Perform system analysis like short circuit, load flow, TCC, arc flash, relay system coordination, motor starting & harmonic analysis, ground grid study
- Perform system study analysis in software like ETAP & SKM
- Leverage office productivity tools (word processors and spreadsheets) for project documentation and data analysis

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical engineering from an accredited college or university plus 2-5 yrs of applicable related field experience
- Master s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of applicable experience
- Demonstrated expertise in electrical design software with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to coordinate teams and drive collaborative efforts
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, with prior experience on U.S.-focused projects
- Expertise in ETAP & SKM Software
