Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Bengaluru South. The Electrical Engineer will support AEC projects by designing and reviewing electrical systems, including power distribution and low- and medium-voltage layouts for buildings and infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include preparing electrical schematics and drawings, performing load calculations, selecting equipment and components, and ensuring designs align with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, mechanical) to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. The engineer will also assist in preparing technical documentation, responding to site queries, and supporting project execution, testing, and commissioning activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core concepts to building and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, including developing layouts, schematics, and load calculations for AEC applications.
- Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including equipment selection, protection, and safety considerations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations (national and local).
- Experience using CAD or BIM tools for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-evolving AEC environment.
