Role Description The Electrical Engineer role at Basar Brothers is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati. The electrical engineer will design, develop, and review electrical systems and layouts for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations. Daily responsibilities include preparing technical drawings, calculations, and documentation; supporting power distribution and power systems planning; and coordinating with technicians, contractors, and other engineers during installation and maintenance activities. The role also involves diagnosing electrical issues, proposing corrective measures, and optimizing system performance to improve reliability and efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate with project teams, participate in site visits, and provide clear technical guidance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with the ability to apply core principles to practical projects.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including creating and reviewing schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
Knowledge of Power Distribution and Power Systems, including load calculations, protection schemes, and system reliability.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
Prior experience in field work, site supervision, or electrical installation projects in industrial or commercial settings is an advantage.
